31 weeks and growing

So, I'm at 31(ish) weeks. Wheew! I can feel it in my hips and ankles alright. Its fun to watch her push her little way around and makes waves. Tomorrow is another Drs appointment and I really hope we get to have another sneak peak at her!

Last October my sister came to visit around Halloween and we wanted to paint our pumpkins instead of carving them. We decided on Dias de los Muertos themes!

We put the pumpkins on the front porch and a week later it snowed and covered up them up. When the snow melted in May we found the remains of our pumpkins: flat and decomposed. Over the summer the plants grew in and we didn't give it another thought until a few weeks ago....

I think we are growing our own pumpkin plant!! As long as the HOA doesn't find out (they don't like people growing their own stuff) we might find out what it is this fall.

We are really hoping for pumpkins. From the beginning of my pregnancy my mom and sister have been calling her Pumpkin because she's due near Halloween (please, oh please don't come on Halloween!) and my tummy is growing nice and round. The nickname has stuck, so I am REALLY hoping that there will be some pumpkins when our little Pumpkin is born. How cute would that be?
