After sitting on my tush for 4 months I finally got a job!! August 2nd was my first day at Allstate Insurance in Rexburg, ID! Its minimum wage, and a little more hours than part time... BUT I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE A JOB!! I am a bit OVERWHELMED with all that goes on in an insurance office, but the guy who is my supervisor? manager? trainer? is super nice. Right now I am filing papers around the office, taking payments, taking messages (because I have no idea what I'm doing)... but hopefully in October I'll be taking the test to make me a real insurance sales agent!
( I tried to find a picture of our office or something more personal, but did you know that if you type Allstate Rexburg into google pics you don't get a picture of our cute Allstate office in Rexburg? I did get a lot of pictures of our all-state athletics teams, and quite a few pics of David Archuletta, which confused me until I figured out that there is an Allstate stadium in Chicago he once sang at AND he once sang in Rexburg. Google, you are WAY ahead of me!)
See our pretty logo?
Jeremy has been taking a summer religion class (which I think is not a real class because the "homework" is reading from the Ensign. Isn't that a commandment or something?). So he's taking the summer off, and he totally deserves it!
He does have a very important job that he's been doing since we moved here: he sells his soul! No wait sorry, he sells his PLASMA! He does it twice a week and doesn't mind at all that his arms have holes in them! Its an important job because it pays $50 a week and for the first 4 months of us being here, it was our only income. I am so proud of him and admire him a lot because I am sooo scared of needles (and they told me my veins were too small, so I couldn't donate if I wanted to).
What a Stud!!
Also: Happy 200 days of marriage for the best husband I could ever ask for!

Dude! I did the plasma thing when I was in college and it was kind of worth it! Haha! GO JaM!
